Manchester United could get 'green light' to solve two major transfer problems
Manchester United are set to be one of the most active Premier League clubs in the summer transfer window, both in terms of incomings and outgoings.
Ruben Amorim is keen to get to work on his United rebuild and, in an ideal world, he would like to sign a new forward, attacking midfielder, central midfielder, wing-back and a goalkeeper on top of the £62.5m signing of Matheus Cunha.
United are also expected to sanction plenty of outgoings, too. The sales of Marcus Rashford, Antony, Alejandro Garnacho and Jadon Sancho have been made a priority this summer, while the arrival of a new forward is imperative for United's improvement next season.
Amorim's side managed just 44 goals in the Premier League last term, with only Everton and the three relegated clubs scoring fewer than United.

Forwards Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee managed just seven league goals between them and Amorim knows he must improve United's attacking output.
The signing of Cunha, who scored 17 goals for Wolves last season, should help their cause. So will the signing of Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford if they can agree on a transfer fee with the Bees.
Signing a new forward is imperative for Amorim's plan but they don't tend to come cheap. Victor Osimhen, Viktor Gyokeres and Hugo Ekitike, all of whom have been linked with United, would command hefty fees.
United were keen to sign Ipswich Town's 12-goal forward Liam Delap before his move to Chelsea, given the relative cheapness of the £30million release clause he had in his contract.
