Manchester United away shirt 'leaked' after appearing in Australia shop

A new Manchester United white away shirt has prematurely hit the shelves in Australia — prompting United supporters to leak images of the design before its impending launch.

During their stunning pre-season opener against Liverpool, United wore their newly-released home shirt for the first time. Jadon Sancho, Fred, Anthony Martial and Facundo Pellistri marked the first use with goals in a 4-0 victory at Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok.

United have since moved onto Australia and will play fixtures there against Melbourne Victory, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa before ending their summer schedule in Norway. By that stage, Erik ten Hag will hope to have added to his squad further after signing Tyrell Malacia from Feyenoord.

As things stand, the Netherlands defender is the only player United have signed this summer, but sights are firmly set on Lisandro Martinez, Frenkie de Jong and Christian Eriksen, who has verbally agreed to join. Those recruits and the current squad already know what they will be wearing at Old Trafford next season.

However, as pointed out by a post on Reddit, the away shirt for next season has appeared in Australia. It is a predominantly white number with black and red details.

Similarly to the home shorts, kit suppliers Adidas have opted for a mix on their trademark three stripes, while main sponsors TeamViewer and the Adidas logo will be printed in black. United have yet to launch the shirt through their official channels, but comments on the post suggest it could be officially unveiled by them at some point this weekend.
