Manchester United are set to appoint Erik ten Hag as their new manager
Erik ten Hag is set to be named the new Manchester United manager, according to ESPN.
United have been looking for a permanent manager after sacking Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in November
Six months after starting their search, they have now decided on appointing Ten Hag.
Ten Hag was interviewed by United last month.
He had been on a four-man shortlist alongside Paris Saint-Germain’s Mauricio Pochettino, Spain coach Luis Enrique and Sevilla’s Julen Lopetegui.
United have now decided to appoint Ten Hag and he is expected to be announced as their new manager soon.
The Ajax boss is ready to leave the Dutch champions to take charge at Old Trafford at the end of the season.
