Real Madrid fans have been sent into a frenzy after Cristiano Ronaldo's latest Instagram post.

Manchester United's top goalscorer this season took to the social media platform to share a picture of himself alongside former Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Jose Semedo and former Sporting Lisbon teammate Miguel Paixao. Alongside the post, the 37-year-old wrote: "Always good to be with my bros."

This seemingly innocuous post sent Real fans into overdrive as they called for his return to La Liga. Below are just some of the comments.

Ronaldo has scored 24 goals for United this season in a disappointing campaign for him and the team. United's heavy defeat to Brighton on Saturday ended Ronaldo's chances of playing in the Champions League under Erik ten Hag next season.
