Manchester’s biggest beer festival is teaming up with one of the North’s best food festivals
Manchester Craft Beer Festival makes its grand return this summer and ahead of its takeover of Depot Mayfield in July, organisers have announced its new food partner.
In a match made in food and drink heaven, the team behind the beer festival have confirmed Stockport favourites, Foodie Friday, are coming aboard to offer a range of food options to complement some of the UK's and world's best beers.
Manchester’s biggest beer event - the only one of its kind to have all beer covered in the ticket price - is running across the weekend of 21-22 July at Mayfield Depot and will see vendors from Stockport’s monthly food event bring street food options for festival attendees.

The monthly food festival, which takes place inside and outside the town's Victorian Market Hall on the last Friday of every month, has become an integral part of Stockport's food and drink scene. Last year, creators John and Rosemary Barrett were awarded the Howard and Ruth Outstanding Achievement Award at the Manchester Food and Drink Awards.
Vendors will include Just Gyros' chicken and feta-packed pittas; Tapas Altrincham's hearty, fresh paella and steak flatbread kebabs; and Chilli’s Indian's Indian Keema and veggie wraps, samosas and bhajis, plus much more. The configuration of this year’s festival will also change, bringing Stockport Foodie Friday vendors inside Mayfield Depot, closer to the main pouring area, leaving a larger space outside for people to enjoy food and drink outside.
