Manchester rock star to host ‘inspiring’ free event in the city this week

A member of a top Manchester band will be hosting an ‘inspiring’ free event later this week as part of a week-long series of talks and workshops.

To coincide with the 2025 edition of Industry Week, which shines a spotlight on careers in the creative industries, the dBs Institute of Sound & Digital Technologies is currently hosting a series of events at their Manchester campus on New Century House on Hanover Street.

On Thursday night (February 13), Jeremy Pritchard of beloved Manchester art rock band Everything Everything, who performed on the opening night of Co-op Live last year, will host a free ‘In Conversation’ session and Q&A, followed by networking and drinks.

The group, which has been nominated for the Mercury Music Prize on two occasions and has also received five Ivor Novello Awards nominations, first broke out onto the scene in 2007. Last year, their seventh album Mountainhead reached the top ten in the UK album charts.

The ‘intimate’ interview session has been billed as a perfect opportunity for fans of the band and musicians who are carving out a similar mould and looking for insights and inspiration. Anyone can attend but free tickets must be reserved online first.

Speaking about Industry Week, Jeremy said: "dBs Institute Manchester has established itself as a hub for creativity and innovation, and I'm absolutely delighted to be invited to take part in an 'In Conversation' during their Industry
