Manchester Pride 2023: Road closures, Metrolink, buses and traffic warnings
With Manchester Pride soon to be well underway, the bright and colourful parade will cause some traffic disruptions and road closures over the bank holiday weekend.
This year, Manchester Pride will start on Friday, August 25 and end on Monday, August 28. However, some of the road closures may be extended for an extra day so plan your journeys accordingly.
This year's bank holiday weekend is set to be a busy one. Manchester Pride will coincide with the Manchester United V Nottingham Forest match and Noel Gallagher at Wythenshawe Park on Saturday - so expect there to be a significant influx of traffic.

To help you avoid any issues for your commute throughout the Manchester Pride celebrations you should plan your route ahead of time and take into account any delays you may experience. Here's a list of the road closures and other traffic disruptions to expect over the Pride period.
