Manchester Oktoberfest is back in the city centre for a 10th year of lederhosen and partying, Bavarian-style

It’s back!

Manchester Oktoberfest is set to return to the city centre for its 10th anniversary party, when Sackville Street, just off Albert Square, will become a little patch of Bavaria for one weekend only - October 10-12.

Over the last decade, thousands of us have taken part in an authentic Oktoberfest experience, the last two years outside the city, but this year the event is back in the thick of the action.

As always, you can expect a real party atmosphere all weekend. As well as lots of tasty traditional food and plenty of Bavarian beer, there will be brilliant live music too.

General admission is priced at £10-15 with student tickets available at £10, with a whole host of special packages too. If you’re coming in a group, you will be seated together!

For the ultimate Oktoberfest experience, with a seat in front of the band, full table service, a glass of German sparkling wine, 2 x 1 Mass (1.5 pint) of Bavarian FestBeer, and a shot of Underberg.

You’ll also grey a Bavarian Brezel, German Schnitzel and German potato salad to welcome you to your table!
