Manchester is set for a mini heatwave with temperatures of 25C and it's starting very soon

Stoke up the barbeque and slap on the sun cream as Greater Manchester is set to experience a mini heatwave over the next few days.

Temperatures have been increasing over the past few days, and and according to BBC Weather, things are about to continue to get a lot brighter and warmer. Forecasts suggest the UK is in for a solid three days of hot weather starting tomorrow (Sunday 28).

After a misty start, the skies will clear with temperatures set to hit 20C by midday on Sunday. The rest of the day is predicted to be fine and dry with plenty of sunshine. Temperatures are set rise to highs of 25C by late afternoon.

On Monday (July 29) and Tuesday (July 30), the weather will continue to be settled and dry. Long spells of sunshine with little cloud will see temperatures higher than the average for the time of year.

On both days, the mercury will hit 20C between 9am and 10am, reaching 26C at its peak in late afternoon.
