Manchester and Britain's most notorious serial rapist Reynhard Sinaga attacked in planned prison hit
Britain's most prolific rapist was attacked in prison following an alleged planned hit by inmates, it's been reported.
Reynhard Sinaga, 41, was jailed in January 2020 for carrying out 159 sex offences including 136 rapes of young men in Manchester after tricking them into taking a date rape drug. He is currently serving a minimum of 40 years behind bars.
The rapist is said to have narrowly avoided serious injuries following the alleged planned attack at HMP Wakefield in July before it was stopped by prison guards. He is said to be 'in danger' and a 'clear target' for inmates due to his sick crimes.

A source told The Sun: "Sinaga is arrogant and universally loathed. He is a clear target in prison because of his depraved crimes. He was seconds away from extremely serious harm. He is in danger."
Jack McRae, 32, has been charged with attempted GBH with intent of Sinaga. He has moved to Frankland prison in Durham following the alleged assault.
Sinaga arrived to the UK as a student from Indonesia in 2005 and spent over a decade drugging and raping men at his flat in Manchester city centre. The predator, who had completed a Masters and was studying for a PhD, would watch from his apartment window for any "waifs and strays' in the area before heading down to speak to them.
"He would just go prowling the streets looking for his victims. young guys on a night out in Manchester city centre with friends," Det Sgt Kimberley Hames-Evans previously said.
"They'd become separated somehow. Maybe ejected for being too drunk or gone outside for a smoke. The point at which then Sinaga makes his move, picks them off."
