Manchester Airport delays and cancellations on Tuesday August 27 - full list

With a few days left of the school holidays people will be planning last minute getaways before the kids go back. Others will be planning trips away in the coming days for some last-minute summer sun.

From beach holidays to city breaks, Manchester Airport connects passengers to locations across the globe. In July 3.2million passengers departed from or arrived into the airport, making it its busiest July on record.

It was the tenth consecutive record-breaking month for the airport, which is on cusp of joining the 30 Million Club alongside other major international hubs like LaGuardia in New York, Melbourne Airport in Australia, Hamad International Airport in Doha and Sabia Gokcen International Airport in Istanbul. A total of 29.6million passengers have flown into or out of the airport in the last 12 months.

Journeys will hopefully go smoothly for most of the passengers passing through the airport. But issues can arise which lead to delays and cancellations.
