Manchester Airport announces airlines moving from Terminals 1 and 3 to T2, including Jet2

Manchester Airport has announced a number of airlines are moving from Terminals 1 and 3 to the new-look T2 - with an alert issued to passengers.

A list of airlines affected has been published, together with the dates they will change over. There are 11 in total at this stage, including Jet2.

From 2025, and after a huge transformation programme worth £1.3bn, the airport's Terminal 2, which will more than double in size, will serve around 70 per cent of all the airport's passengers, with the old T1 then closing. The airport said that under the programme, the 'new homes' of some airlines will be T2.

Flights with EgyptAir and SunExpress will switch to T2 on November 12, with Royal Jordanian moving the following day.

The airport, meanwhile, has also urged passengers with car parking or lounge bookings to get in touch so they can be changed. All fast-track bookings for T1 and T3 will be able to be used in T2.

In June this year, the airport announced the latest milestone in the transformation programme of T2, with a huge, two-storey link bridge being moved into place.
