Man Utd players ‘irritated Cristiano Ronaldo wants to lead dressing room’
Manchester United’s English players are reportedly irritated that Cristiano Ronaldo wants to lead the dressing room with his own clique.
There is now a risk of a split in the team.
This is according to BILD’s Head of Football Christian Falk, who understands that Harry Maguire and Marcus Rashford are among the English players frustrated with the club’s star player.
Maguire and Rashford are two of the most influential players in the Old Trafford dressing room.
Other England internationals at the club include Luke Shaw, Jadon Sancho, Jesse Lingard and Phil Jones.
But Falk claims United’s English contingent are ‘irritated’ that Ronaldo is keen to run the dressing room with the players he’s closest to at the club.

A recent photo of Ronaldo on his 37th birthday showed the legendary Portuguese forward celebrating with compatriots Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot, although it’s unclear whether these two form part of the aforementioned ‘clique’.
