Erik ten Hag has outlined the plans he would look to implement at Old Trafford should he become the next Manchester United manager.
The Ajax boss held "positive" talks with United chiefs this week as they begin interviewing candidates for the manager's position at the club. Those talks have led to Ten Hag becoming the favourite for the job and he could be appointed this summer.
It comes as United could save millions in the transfer market by opting not to sign a playmaker this summer thanks to a young academy prospect. And Manchester United goalkeeper Paul Woolston has retired at the tender age of just 23.

Paul Woolston has retired from football at the age of 23, with David de Gea leading the tributes to the young stopper.
The goalkeeper has had to call time on his career early after suffering an unknown injury for which he's already undergone two operations and a lengthy rehabilitation period in recent years. Woolaston joined United in 2018 from Newcastle United but his move to Old Trafford sadly didn't work out.
