Ajax fans appear to have mixed opinions about the possibility of Erik ten Hag becoming the next Manchester United manager.
The Ajax boss is expected to be announced as the next United coach in the coming weeks, replacing interim manager Ralf Rangnick at the end of the season. Rangnick will start a two-year consultancy gig when his temporary contact expires.
Ten Hag is refusing to answer questions about the United job, as English reporters were banned from his post-match press conference on Saturday evening. Yet Ajax fans were more than happy to discuss the possibility of saying goodbye to their manager.
"I'm very disappointed actually that I hear he's almost leaving - it's almost a done deal with Manchester United," one supporter told Sky Sports News. "I'm crying from the inside... I'm very sorry to lose him. I think he was one of the greatest coaches we've ever had."
But another said: "It's good for Ten Hag and I think also good for Ajax. After five, six years it's good to see what we can do with another trainer. New trainer... I think it will work."
On whether Ten Hag will be a success at OId Trafford, one fan said: "It might take some time, but I think if he can be given the resources that he needs to be given - and be given the leverage to do what he wants to do with the club - I think he can achieve."
