Forgotten Manchester United man Andreas Pereira will be given a chance to impress new manager Erik ten Hag.

The Brazilian has been on loan in his native country with Flamengo for the last year but a permanent move has failed to materialise. And despite Ten Hag's Old Trafford overhaul set to get underway, the midfielder is set to be given the chance to force his way into his new manager's plans.

It comes as young star Alejandro Garnacho has sent Ten Hag a clear message following his latest performance for the Argentina under-20s side. And United have got one over on Paul Pogba after the Frenchman's departure from Old Trafford was finally announced.

Andreas Pereira could force his way back into the fold at Manchester United next season, with new boss Erik ten Hag thought to be ready to give him a chance.

The Brazilian's Old Trafford career had appeared to be over when he sealed a loan move to Flamengo last year. An £8.5million transfer fee was reportedly in place to make the move permanent although that now appears unlikely to be triggered.
