Man Utd fan makes desperate plea to Sir Alex Ferguson after spotting him at Old Trafford

A Manchester United supporter issued a desperate plea for Sir Alex Ferguson to come out of retirement and save the Red Devils after spotting him outside Old Trafford.

United fans have endured nearly a decade of frustration since Ferguson stepped away from the dugout following 26 years in charge and winning their last Premier League title to date back in 2013. Erik ten Hag recently became the fifth permanent manager to take on the mammoth challenge of bringing the glory days back to Old Trafford, but his reign has begun in dire fashion.

In a nightmare start to the new Premier League season, Ten Hag has overseen back-to-back defeats to Brighton and Brentford. With supporters now also protesting against the club's owners, the Glazer family, amid talk of a takeover, one fan has tried his luck to tempt Ferguson out of retirement.

Having been fortunate enough to spot the legendary boss outside Old Trafford amid the club's hapless predicament, TikTok user kinghamza939 filmed a smiling Ferguson waiting to enter to his chauffeur-driven car. Reacting to seeing the Red Devils icon in person, a supporter cried: "Oh my god, he's here! Fergie! Fergie! Come back and manage us! We need you!"

Ahead of the 2022-23 campaign, Ferguson was handed a place on the Red Devils' footballing advisory board. According to the Mail, Arnold, former chief executive David Gill, ex-United captain Bryan Robson and football director John Murtough will help make up the team.

It was only three weeks ago when ago when Ferguson arrived at United's Carrington training
