A Manchester United supporter issued a desperate plea for Sir Alex Ferguson to come out of retirement and save the Red Devils after spotting him outside Old Trafford.

Having been fortunate enough to spot the legendary boss outside Old Trafford amid the club's hapless predicament, TikTok user kinghamza939 filmed a smiling Ferguson waiting to enter to his chauffeur-driven car. Reacting to seeing the Red Devils icon in person, a supporter cried: "Oh my god, he's here! Fergie! Fergie! Come back and manage us! We need you!"

Now 80, it doesn't look at all likely that the fan's prayers will be answered, although the Scot - who showed no reaction in the video - still has a role at the club behind the scenes.
