Man Utd 3-2 Spurs: Cristiano Ronaldo scores stunning hat-trick
Rumours of Cristiano Ronaldo‘s demise have been greatly overstated.
The greatest goalscorer in football history hasn’t been at his very best at times in 2022, but when it mattered most, he turned up for Manchester United against Tottenham Hotspur.
In a game that could decide who finishes in the Premier League top four at the end of the season, Ronaldo scored a breathtaking hat-trick to secure a priceless 3-2 victory for the Red Devils.
Ronaldo’s first goal came early in the first half and it was a stunning long-range strike that no goalkeeper on the planet would have saved.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s second came just before the half-time interval after Spurs had equalised through a Harry Kane penalty.
Ronaldo converted Jadon Sancho‘s cross to put United 2-1 ahead, but the team needed his unquestionable brilliance once again late in the second half.
A Harry Maguire own goal had the game heading to a 2-2 draw, until Ronaldo met one of Alex Telles’ corner in trademark fashion as the clocked ticked over to 81 minutes played.
It was a truly emphatic header and the noise inside Old Trafford was absolutely deafening.
