Man United 'willing' to pay £38m release clause for wonderkid as Antony price tag revealed
Manchester United are back in Premier League action when they travel to Brentford on Sunday. Fresh off the back of Thursday's pivotal semi-final first leg 3-0 win over Athletic Bilbao in the Europa League, Ruben Amorim's side will be aiming to take that form into the top-flight.
United have not won in the league since mid-March when they ran out 3-0 winners at Leicester City. The Reds have since failed to win in five matches, drawing two and losing three games in that sequence.
While United will be keen to record a positive result at the Gtech Community Stadium, Amorim's squad will also no doubt have one eye on the Europa League semi-final second leg against Athletic Club. With this in mind, it could be a difficult task to get something at Brentford, as Amorim looks to rotate his pack.

United are "prepared" to exercise Franco Mastantuono's £38million release clause, according to TYC Sports. The 17-year-old has been impressive since breaking into River Plate's first-team.
Mastantuono made his senior debut in January 2024 and he then became the club's youngest ever goal-scorer the following month. The teenager has promptly established himself as a firm fixture in the first-team set-up, and made 41 appearances throughout his maiden season.
He has since continued to shine in 2025, having netted three times in 12 matches this year. And Mastantuono, who is claimed to be attracting interest from across Europe, saw his stock rise even further when he netted a superb 30-yard free-kick for River against arch-rivals Boca Juniors on Sunday.
