Manchester United have failed to make a single first-team signing in the January transfer window so far. After spending more than £200million in the summer, there was talk that United were going into dip into the winter market to further strengthen their squad.

However, United haven't opted to add just yet, though there is still 10 days for the Reds to change that. Despite their inactivity in the transfer window, Michael Carrick's side continue to be linked with signing several players, with a central midfielder thought to be at the top of their shortlist.

Noah Sadiki and Wilfred Ndidi are the latest two midfielders tipped to move to Old Trafford, while United remain interested in Elliot Anderson, Adam Wharton, Carlos Baleba and Ruben Neves.

Elsewhere, United could be active on the outgoing front too, with forward Joshua Zirkzee linked with a move to Roma and Juventus after failing to make the matchday squad against Manchester City on Saturday.
