Man United transfer news LIVE: Robert Lewandowski stance, Fernandes latest, Bellingham 'offer'
Manchester United claimed their third win on the bounce after beating Brighton 4-2 on Saturday.
Looking to follow up back-to-back Premier League victories against Sunderland and Liverpool either side of the international break, the Reds dispatched the Seagulls at Old Trafford, despite a late scare.
Ruben Amorim's side stormed into a two-goal lead in the first half through Matheus Cunha's first United goal and Casemiro's deflected strike, before Bryan Mbeumo put the Reds 3-0 up in the second period.
Brighton fought back late on with Danny Welbeck and Charalampos Kostoulas giving United something to be concerned about. However, Mbeumo scored United's fourth in stoppage-time to wrap up the win.
While the immediate focus is on United's recent up-turn in form and next Saturday's trip to Nottingham Forest, there is still transfer talk bubbling in the air with the January transfer window around the corner.
