Man United's dream XI for opening Premier League fixture vs Arsenal after four transfers

Manchester United fans have already ticked first signing and new home kit revealed off their summer bingo cards and they have now managed to cross off another milestone on Wednesday morning.

The Premier League released their fixture list for the 2025/26 campaign with some of the biggest matches of the season not far away for the Reds. The first Manchester derby of the season will be on matchday four while a trip to Everton's new stadium is delayed until February.

However, on the opening weekend, no match will be anticipated more than the clash between United and Arsenal at Old Trafford. It will be an interesting test to see whether or not Ruben Amorim's newly rebuilt squad can challenge with a side who are desperate to go one step better next season and win the Premier League.

Before they can think too hard about that, Amorim and Ineos will need to make new additions to their squad. MEN Sport has taken a look at how the Reds could line up to face Arsenal if they enjoy their dream summer between now and then.

Goalkeeper - Emiliano Martinez

Andre Onana is not expected to depart Old Trafford this summer and there is a strong chance that he will be in goal as first-choice by the time the Premier League returns. However, the arrival of Martinez from Aston Villa would give the Cameroonian some much-needed incentive to become more consistent.

It would be some Premier League debut for Martinez too, considering his ties to Arsenal and the manner in which he left the Emirates Stadium.

Defenders - Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, Harry Maguire

No new faces in the back three but that's not always a bad thing. United will need some stability heading into next season and these three, when fit, are arguably the best choices available
