Man United loanee Amad sends message to Erik ten Hag as Eric Bailly suffers another injury

Amad received superb praise from manager Tony Mowbray for his second half impact in Sunderland’s 2-1 win over Wigan on Saturday.

The Black Cats were 1-0 down at half-time but the Manchester United attacker’s introduction during the break helped the hosts claim a 2-1 win - and the youngster is starting to show Erik ten Hag why he could have a good future at the club next season. Nottingham Forest and Dean Henderson remained locked to the foot of the Premier League table following Saturday’s 1-0 loss to Wolves.
