'Different class!' - Manchester United sent exciting Hannibal Mejbri message as loanee shines

Several Birmingham City supporters have praised Manchester United loanee Hannibal Mejbri after he produced an outstanding display to help the Blues beat Hull City 2-0 at the MKM Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Goals either side of half-time from Troy Deeney and Juninho Bacuna sealed a second consecutive win and clean sheet for John Eustace's side. They have now won four of their last seven matches, losing just once.

Eustace has enjoyed an excellent start to life in charge in the Midlands, with Birmingham supporters massively enjoying the transformation he has so far produced. Central to their recent upturn in results have been former United winger Tahith Chong, who returned to the club on transfer deadline day, and Hannibal.

The latter joined the Championship outfit on a season-long loan deal, offering him the opportunity to store a regular amount of minutes at first-team level under his belt. He has racked up eight appearances for the St Andrew's outfit so far, but it was his performance in the victory over Hull that has so far been the most eye-catching.

The Tunisian, starting in central-midfield, bossed proceedings, producing six tackles, two interceptions and two clearances, as well as winning 11 ground duels. He covered almost every blade of grass before being taken off with 86 minutes on the clock.

And it was a performance that left Birmingham's supporters in awe of his qualities. Below, MEN Sport has taken a close look at what they, as well as a Hull supporter, had to say on social media.
