Man United have five problems to solve before transfer deadline day
Manchester United's summer transfer window is coming towards a close, but yet there are still issues in the squad that need addressing.
During the 2-1 defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion at the weekend, the Reds did not perform terribly. It was not an excellent performance, but by no means did they look to have reached the depths that they plummeted to at times last season.
Erik ten Hag will know there are still players missing who will add value to his team, but he shall also be aware of the intense scrutiny he is under to bring home results and performances. With Friday's deadline looming large, there are still five problems that need to be fixed before business is concluded, and some are easier than others.

The first issue on United's plate is to get Manuel Ugarte through the door at Old Trafford. Uruguay's midfielder has been linked extensively to the Reds throughout the window, and at this stage there is no panic about whether or not the deal will be concluded.
However, Ten Hag will hope he gets that one under his belt as soon as possible so that focus can turn to outgoings. Chief among which is the exit for Jadon Sancho.
Juventus have chosen to leave it late in the window to decide to make their interest in Sancho formal, but with negotiations beginning on Monday, United will hope they can secure some much-needed funds from his sale. The desire will be to add Scott McTominay to that for sale list too.
The Scotland international has been targeted by Napoli, and while the interest is genuine, no agreement has been reached on the transfer fee the Italian club would owe. With Ugarte arriving, United must ensure that a midfielder
