Bruno Fernandes has a huge decision to make which could change Manchester United's future under Ruben Amorim.

The Manchester Evening News understands that United's captain is seriously considering leaving the Reds for Al-Hilal this summer. That's not to say they won't remain a big club, but after finishing so low in the top-flight, teams like Newcastle and Chelsea, never mind Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City, are becoming more fashionable to support for younger fans across the globe.

It's why selling Fernandes is such a bad idea after the season United have had. Imagine where they would have been without him? It's not a stretch to suggest that they could have been looking over their shoulders at the Premier League's bottom three.

Without the Portuguese playmaker's leadership on and off the pitch, without his creativity and goalscoring output next season, a side in transition under their inexperienced head coach could be dragged into the unthinkable scenario of a relegation battle.
