Man United considering a summer move for Tottenham star Harry Kane

Manchester United are considering making a fresh move for Tottenham striker Harry Kane this summer.

The Red Devils are watching the situation closely as rivals Manchester City have switched their focus to Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland in the upcoming transfer window.

Pep Guardiola's side were chasing England international Kane last summer, but Spurs held firm and refused to sell, although they now face yet another window of trying the persuade the forward to stay.

The 29-year-old has rediscovered his best form under Antonio Conte and they'll hope the Italian being in charge can keep him at the club.

Kane, however, has just two years left on his deal which may see Spurs more keen to listen to offers rather than risk losing him for nothing once his contract runs down, according to the Mirror.

United need a star centre forward as Cristiano Ronaldo is 37 and Edinson Cavani has become a bit-part player and they face losing out on Haaland to either City or Real Madrid this summer.

That has reignited interest in Kane who has made it plain he wants to win trophies which was the driving force behind him wanting to join City last summer.

It could also be a chance for Kane to potentially link back up with Mauricio Pochettino as the former Spurs boss is on United’s hit list to become their next manager should he leave PSG this summer.

United would not be a guarantee of success and they are desperately battling to get into the top four this season.

The Red Devils were one of the interested parties last summer but instead signed Ronaldo.
