Man United 2-1 Aston Villa live score and goal updates as Cunha scores after Barkley and Casemiro

Manchester United will look to get back to winning ways today when they face Aston Villa at Old Trafford.

The FA Cup weekend has meant United have had to wait to put the Newcastle defeat behind them, but today would be the perfect time to bounce back against a direct rival for Champions League qualification.

Here are the teams for today's game:

United: Lammens, Dalot, Yoro, Maguire, Shaw, Casemiro, Mainoo, Fernandes (c), Amad, Mbeumo, Cunha.

Villa: Martinez, Bogarde, Konsa, Mings, Digne, Barkley, Onana, Buendia, McGinn, Rogers, Watkins.

Follow all the build-up, updates and reaction from Old Trafford below:

Sesko has replaced Mbeumo for the final 15 minutes of the game.

Cunha produces an almost immediate response after another world class assist from Fernandes.

Just 20 minutes left and it's all to play for at Old Trafford. United will go six points clear of Chelsea in fifth if they can produce a late matchwinner. Carrick still has the option of throwing Sesko into this game.

Barkley with a decent finish into the bottom left corner.

Emery just went mental on the touchline, fist pumping outside his area and screaming as he celebrated.

Watkins and McGinn have been replaced by Bailey and Abraham.

That was a brilliant cross from Fernandes to provide an assist to Casemiro from the corner. Fernandes is having a superb season and must be the favoruite to win the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year award.

Casemiro scores a header from a corner, breaking the deadlock with a great finish.

Carrick celebrated by turning around and fist pumping to the directors' box.

Watkins would have been through on goal if Maguire did not read the move well.

We're back under way for the second half of the game.

And here are your half-time ratings...
