Man City vs Plymouth live goal and score updates as Maksym Talovierov gives Argyle shock lead

Manchester City can book an FA Cup quarter-final spot but must do something Liverpool couldn't and beat Championship strugglers Plymouth.

The Pilgrims shocked Liverpool in the last round and will bring 8,000 fans to the Etihad in search of another giantkilling. Ilkay Gundogan arrives late into the box, aims for the top corner from Grealish's deflected cut-back, but it comes back off the inside of the post.

So close - and City are getting closer to that opener.

Bernardo clips a nice cross towards Ilkay Gundogn who heads down but into the hands of Conor Hazard. City's best chance.

Gundogan has looked good so far, running through the midfield like he hasn't shown all season.

Chief City writer Simon Bajkowski,
