Man City vs Liverpool: Kevin De Bruyne posts 'A day in the life' video

Kevin De Bruyne was at his brilliant best as Manchester City drew 2-2 with Liverpool on Sunday.

The Belgian midfielder opened the scoring during the huge title clash between the two sides.

While he was unable to earn City all three points, his overall performance showed the midfielder was back to his very best.

After the match, his manager Pep Guardiola acknowledged De Bruyne’s incredible display.

“I like that he is a player who does not just make a lot of assists, he is scoring a lot. I told him he has to score more goals to reach another stage,” Guardiola said.

“He is scoring a lot of goals and making chances, knowing the position he is playing is so difficult against Liverpool because they are so narrow. And his vision for the last pass is exceptional.

“It’s true he struggled in the first part of the season a lot with the injuries from the Champions League final and the European Championships.

“He has been at this level many times. The year we made 100 points at that level Kevin was incredible.”

While we all witnessed De Bruyne’s brilliance during the match, he also gave us a sneak peek into his personal life. The former Chelsea man recently joined TikTok and he shared a ‘Day in the life’ video showing his family supporting him on the day of Man City vs Liverpool.

The video features his wife, Michele Lacroix, and two of his children Rome De Bruyne, 3, and Mason Milian De Bruyne, 4.

It shows De Bruyne heading off to the match, while his wife and children cheer him on from the stands. They then meet him after the game before he treats them to McDonald’s on the way home.

While it’s not the most insightful video into De Bruyne’s entire day, it does give us a glimpse of what his life is like on a big matchday.
