Man City 4-3 Real Madrid: Rival fans criticise City's 'semi-final' limbs after De Bruyne goal

Manchester City just about got the job done against Real Madrid in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final clash.

The helter-skelter affair at the Etihad was a dream watch for the neutral, but, despite the win, a frustrating one for the home fans.

City roared into a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling in what was the perfect start.

Sadly, from a City perspective, they would once again let Real back in, this time through a stunning Benzema Panenka penalty.

The game would end 4-3 with City taking a lead with them to Madrid – a lead that they will surely feel could have been a lot more substantial.

That moment came in the immediate aftermath of the De Bruyne opener, with fans pointing to the lack of ‘limbs’ among the City faithful.

Now, it is worth remembering the De Bruyne goal was very early
