Manchester City will return to the top of the Premier League if they can beat Bournemouth at the Etihad Stadium this afternoon. The third-placed Blues are two points behind leaders Tottenham with Arsenal in second but would leapfrog both of them with a win today.

It would put pressure on the north London rivals' efforts to regain their positions later this weekend - Arsenal travel to Newcastle this evening while Spurs host Chelsea on Monday night.

City have had the relative luxury of a week off since their statement 3-0 derby win over United last Sunday, and - aside from long-term absentee Kevin de Bruyne - Pep Guardiola has a fully-fit squad to choose from.

The Cherries have found life tough so far this season but head north off the back of a vital victory last weekend over fellow strugglers Burnley that lifted them out of the relegation zone.
