Man City vs Aston Villa live FA Youth Cup final updates and team news

There hasn't been much to cheer about in Pep Guardiola's Manchester City squad but the academy have had another brilliant season. While the first team have floundered, the youngsters have bounced back from disappointment last year to be on course for winning multiple trophies.

Just as Guardiola's side could end their difficult year with Champions League qualification and an FA Cup, even when the academy struggled last year in the Under-21 league they still went all the way to lift the FA Youth Cup. And they can do so again this year if they can beat Aston Villa, in addition to being able to win the Under-18 and Under-21 leagues in what would be a magnificent treble.

The final has been set at Villa Park for Bank Holiday Monday at 3pm, with hopes of a bumper crowd to see two of the best academy sides in the country going head to head.
