Man City vs Al Ain live Club World Cup build up, early team news and how to watch

Pep Guardiola is set to ring the changes for Manchester City as they continue their Club World Cup campaign in Atlanta tonight.

The Blues face UAE side Al Ain in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium as they look to back up last week's win against Wydad AC. But they will need to win by seven goals to dislodge Juventus at the top of Group G after the Italian giants beat the Morrocan side 4-1 earlier today.

City were 2-0 winners last Wednesday but after the game Guardiola said he would make 10 changes and he is likely to be true to his word, having expressed a desire to give all of his 27-man squad a run out during the tournament, although it remains to be seen if that includes the three goalkeepers in his squad.

Guardiola did say in his press conference yesterday that Rodri wasn't yet fit to start and while he will make changes, he also expressed a desire to take the competition seriously. City won the Club World Cup in its previous guise in Saudi Arabia in December 2023.

The Blues will also have to cope with the heat, with temperatures set to be around 30 degrees despite the latter kick-off at 9pm local time.
