Man City star Jeremy Doku did something nobody has ever done before vs Young Boys

Winger Jeremy Doku set a unique Champions League record during his cameo appearance in Manchester City's 3-0 win over BSC Young Boys at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Introduced from the bench with 80 minutes played, the Belgian, who starred in the weekend's 6-1 win over Bournemouth, scoring one goal and grabbing four assists, took the place of Mateo Kovacic. City were already three goals to the good following strikes either side of half-time from Erling Haaland (2) and Phil Foden.

Including three minutes of additional time, Doku was on the pitch for just 13 minutes, helping City control possession as they ran down the clock against their opponents, who were down to 10 men. Though he was unable to add to the goal he scored against Bournemouth, he did leave his calling card.

The former Rennes ace, 21, completed six successful dribbles, which was the most of any player on the pitch from start to finish. In doing so, he also became the first player in Champions League history to complete six successful dribbles after stepping off the bench in the 80th minute or later.

Though his cameo appearance was fairly short, Doku teased the Young Boys defence every time he got on the ball, twisting one way and then another. It was another piece of evidence to show that City were right to invest north of £55million in his signature in August.

Since making the switch to the Etihad, he has racked up 13 appearances, scoring three goals and registering six assists, meaning he has made a significant contribution in next to no time. He has started only one of City's opening four Champions League
