Man City star Jack Grealish fires one-word message after Pep Guardiola rant ahead of Aston Villa

Jack Grealish has sent a message ahead of Manchester City's clash against Aston Villa, just days after being seen having a heated debate with Pep Guardiola on the pitch.

Grealish made a substitute appearance in the second half for City in the Premier League clash against Arsenal on Sunday. He will be hoping to be included in the starting line-up when he faces his former club on Wednesday night.

Hours before kick-off, Grealish posted a message on social media hinting that he could be handed a start against Villa. The message was on his Instagram story, and featured a photo of himself in training with the caption: "Ready".

Grealish's post comes after he was seen having a heated discussion with Guardiola after the draw with Arsenal. Soon after the final whistle, Guardiola made his way over to Grealish on the Etihad Stadium pitch and could be seen having a detailed chat with the City star which was spotted by the TV cameras.

Guardiola's heated exchange with Grealish led to criticisms in sections of the media for the City boss. However, Guardiola gave a sarcastic response when asked about the criticism that had been sent his way after his chat with Grealish.

"I do it for the cameras, my ego. I'm the famous person of the team and I need the cameras to go to sleep with incredible satisfaction," said Guardiola
