Man City sell out maximum allocation for Tottenham FA Cup game in a day

Manchester City will form one of the largest away followings in the country next week when nearly 9,000 of them head to Tottenham in the FA Cup.

The fourth-round tie between the Premier League title contenders was last week moved to a Friday night kick-off, meaning many Blues would have to factor in extra time off work and more cost on travel if they wanted to attend given the last train back from London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly departs before the match is scheduled to finish. The fact that Tottenham's stadium is one of the largest in the country means that the decision to move the kick-off time has inconvenienced the biggest chunk of travelling fans.
