Man City's next six Premier League fixtures compared to Liverpool FC, Arsenal and other rivals

Manchester City have gone from strength to strength this season and added another victory to their record on Saturday against West Ham United.

On his return to the dugout, Pep Guardiola did not have it all his own way at the London Stadium. City trailed at the interval after James Ward-Prowse gave the hosts the lead.

Whatever Guardiola said at the break worked as Jeremy Doku equalised almost immediately. Bernardo Silva made it 2-1 15 minutes before time as Erling Haaland sealed the points 10 minutes later.

As City look to continue their run of good form, MEN Sport has taken a look at the next six Premier League fixtures and how they compare to the Blues' rivals.

Nottingham Forest (H) - September 23

Wolverhampton Wanderers (A) - September 30

Arsenal (A) - October 8

Brighton and Hove Albion (H) - October 21

Manchester United (A) - October 29

AFC Bournemouth (A) - November 4

Verdict

The middle of this run of games is very interesting. The trip to Arsenal will be difficult considering their strengths under Mikel Arteta and Brighton are proving to be no pushovers again this campaign.

Of course United have not started well, but a Manchester derby is never easy. This trio of games could be season-defining and could take the Blues even further ahead of their rivals.

Arsenal (A) - September 24

Liverpool (H) - September 30

Luton Town (A) - October 7

Fulham (H) - October 23
