Man City's next six Premier League fixtures compared to Tottenham, Arsenal and other rivals

Manchester City suffered a week to forget after losing a second game in a row on Saturday afternoon away at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

After being knocked out of the Carabao Cup at Newcastle United in midweek, Pep Guardiola was keen to see a reaction from his men against the Premier League strugglers. However, City found it difficult to break down a well-organised Wolves team.

The hosts took the lead after a superb Pedro Neto run culminated in a cross which deflected in off Ruben Dias for an own goal. City were level just before the hour mark thanks to Julian Alvarez's brilliant free-kick but they left empty-handed thanks to Hwang Hee-chan's close-range strike.

Saturday, November 4 vs Bournemouth (H) at 3pm

Sunday, November 12 vs Chelsea (A) at 4.30pm

Saturday, November 25 vs Liverpool (H) at 3pm

Verdict

As mentioned, Guardiola could not have asked for a much tougher run of fixtures in the Premier League. After the loss to Wolves, the Arsenal match is huge next weekend and a trip to Brighton after the international break is not ideal.

United, Chelsea and Liverpool will all pose their own challenges and could prove to be a season-defining period for City.
