Man City's next six fixtures compared to Arsenal, Manchester United and other Premier League rivals

Manchester City avoided three straight Premier League defeats on Saturday thanks to a hard-fought 2-1 win over Brighton and Hove Albion at the Etihad Stadium.

Julian Alvarez opened the scoring on seven minutes thanks to a scuffed effort which looped over Jason Steele in goal. Erling Haaland made it 2-0 before the 20-minute mark as City looked all set for a comfortable win.

However, Ansu Fati's goal just over 15 minutes before full-time ensured a nervy finish but Pep Guardiola's team did enough to hold on. The three points takes the Blues to the top of the Premier League at least until Monday when Tottenham Hotspur are next in action.

With this in mind, MEN Sport has taken a look at City's next six fixtures compared to their rivals.

Verdict

With fixtures now beginning to pile up for City, we are now entering a pivotal moment in their season. The Manchester derby is always a huge occasion on the calendar but Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs will all provide big tests.

Aston Villa have also started well this year so Guardiola will learn plenty from his players in the next stint of games.
