Man City's Kevin De Bruyne completes stunning weak-foot hat-trick vs Wolves

Kevin De Bruyne has just completed an outrageous hat-trick for Manchester City.

Frankly, the stage was set for the Premier League champions to drop points with a trip to Molineux that has proven troublesome in the past, particularly with the pressure of the title race weighing heavy.

Liverpool might have left the door ajar with their 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur over the weekend, but they turned up the tension once again by rebounding with a 2-1 win at Aston Villa.

As such, you could rest assured that the nerves were jangling amongst the City dressing room as they got underway in the Black Country. Well, maybe everyone other than De Bruyne.

That’s because City’s star man scored one of the most remarkable hat-tricks in Premier League history, finding the back of the net three times from midfield with only 24 minutes on the clock.

With the Belgian maestro having opened the scoring after just seven minutes, the Citizens were pegged back by a Leander Dendoncker striker that had Liverpool fans on their feet.

However, that’s when De Bruyne changed gears again, finding the net not once, but twice as he rounded off an unbelievable treble with a fizzing strike past Jose Sa.

The Wolves goalkeeper must have thought that De Bruyne couldn’t possibly have scored past him, but the hat-trick-sealing strike looked destined for the net as soon as it pinged off his boot.

Be sure to check out the hat-trick in all its glory down below.
