Biker stabbed and left with broken leg after shock hit and run attack in Manchester

A man was left with a broken leg and stab wounds after his motorbike was ploughed into by a car, before the driver and passenger got out and attacked him and his pal with weapons on Tuesday evening (May 10). The incident broke out on Moston Lane at around 7.45pm, after a 19-year-old, who was driving his motorbike with a friend, were struck by a silver Jaguar.

Police enquiries established that the crash, which happened at the junction with Gill Street, was followed by a violent attack. Afterwards, the unknown driver and passenger got out of the vehicle and attacked the pair with weapons before driving off from the scene.

It was a short while later that the car was then located abandoned and in flames on Collyhurst Road. The 19-year-old motorbike driver was taken to hospital and found to have a broken leg and two stab wounds from the incident.
