Man City press conference LIVE - Pep Guardiola future latest plus injury updates and West Ham team news
Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola will conduct his pre-match press conference today as he previews Saturday's visit of West Ham to the Etihad Stadium.
City enter the match in a fine run of form having won their last six games in all competitions. On Wednesday night they beat Brentford 2-0 in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals to set up a packed January schedule, with ten matches set to be played between New Year's Day and February 1.
Guardiola could be asked about this in his press conference along with the injury issues piling up for City. Oscar Bobb is the latest player to pick up an issue and we can expect updates on him and his injured teammates today.
Reports surfaced on Thursday suggesting Chelsea's Enzo Maresca was being eyed up as a possible Guardiola replacement if the Catalan coach leaves City at the end of the season. We can expect questions to be asked on his future this afternoon.

"The really important game is West Ham," Pep Guardiola told the media ahead of Wednesday night's Carabao Cup quarter-final vs Brentford. "After West Ham we have seven days to recover, but West Ham… I’m sorry it’s so, so important." The head coach's frank admission hinted at major changes in midweek. And so it proved as Guardiola made seven alterations to the side which beat Crystal Palace, albeit Phil Foden was reintroduced less than 20 minutes into the game due to Oscar Bobb's injury. The rotated side produced the goods for City with Rayan Cherki and Savinho's strikes securing a place in the semi-finals for the Blues.
While there is undoubted positivity to take from a sixth successive victory and progression to the last four of the first domestic competition
