Ederson: Had a very good game. Even if he wasn't asked to do much, made crucial interventions to keep City's clean sheet safe. 7

Lewis: Enjoyed himself on his first start in over two months, shuttling between defence, holding midfield and a No.8 role. 7

Akanji: A mostly calm afternoon mopping up Bamford but was poor for the Leeds goal. 6

Laporte: A comfortable return to the team but may not have done enough to start in Madrid. 7

Ake: Looked confident bringing the ball forward out of defence, before bringing a premature end to his game. 7

Gundogan: Two goals and immaculate passing to remind City how good he remains. Wasted a hat-trick chance with the penalty though. 8

Haaland: Missed a glut of chances and then, to Guardiola's fury, passed up the penalty for Gundogan. 4
