'Man City not selling their allocation for FA Cup semi-final vs Liverpool was a disgrace'

Manchester City succumbed to Liverpool in their FA Cup semi-final clash on Saturday afternoon.

The Citizens were far from their best in the first-half and were 3-0 down at the break.

City battled back in the second 45 minutes but could not complete the comeback as they lost 3-2.

City’s fanbase has come under criticism many times in the past few years.

And they have been criticised again following the semi-final at Wembley.

Despite the game being of the highest magnitude between two of the world’s best teams, City failed to sell out their whole allocation for the game.

A significant number of empty seats could be seen in the City end. A huge banner featuring City’s crest was even placed in the upper tier of the stadium to make it look filled out.

There were no direct trains running from the north west to London on the day of the game but, despite the travel issues, Liverpool had no problems selling out their allocation.
