Man City must keep cool and avoid Brentford traps to keep up Premier League pace

Manchester City take on Brentford looking to move to within a point of leaders Liverpool.

Dropping points at home to Chelsea has taken away the opportunity for the Blues to reach the Premier League summit, with attention now turning to them keeping pace with Jurgen Klopp's side to make sure they head to Anfield in March with the potential to do some real damage in the title race. To do that, they will have to beat Brentford for the second time this month after a 3-1 win in West London thanks to a Phil Foden hat-trick.

Foden will hope to be involved again to keep his streak of starts under Pep Guardiola going, and the manager could only be missing Jack Grealish and Josko Gvardiol for the game. Here are a look at the talking points for the match.
