Man City key dates for 2022/23 with Premier League fixtures reveal and USA pre-season tour

It was only a little over a week ago that Manchester City clinched the Premier League title with a remarkable comeback, but already it feels like an age since Pep Guardiola's side has played.

Unfortunately, things aren't going to get any easier in that regard. With over 50 days until City's first pre-season friendly, there's a lot of time to kill for City fans eagerly awaiting the start of the 2022/23 season.

But fear not - there are a number of key dates to look forward to this summer that should hopefully make waiting for City's return just that little bit more bearable.

City will begin their preparations for the new season in July with a couple of games in the United States.

The Blues will first face Mexican side Club America in Houston in the early hours of Thursday July 21 (01:30 BST), before meeting Bayern Munich in Green Bay at 00:00 on Sunday July 24.

The Blues are yet to announce any further pre-season games, although they will face Liverpool in the Community Shield on Sunday July 31, which will not be played at Wembley due to the final of the Women's European Championship.

Next season's fixtures will be announced at 09:00 (BST) on Thursday June 16.

City have already agreed deals for Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez, but the summer transfer window for Premier League clubs will officially open on June 10 and will close at 23:00 (BST) on September 1.

City will enter the Champions League at the group phaser, and will be placed in pot one for the draw on Thursday August 25, alongside the likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
