Man City keep pressure on Arsenal with 3-0 win at Palace

LONDON, Dec 14 : Manchester City kept up the pressure on Premier League leaders Arsenal with a 3-0 win at Crystal Palace on Sunday, thanks to a double from Erling Haaland and Phil Foden's fine finish.

Palace created the better chances in the first half with Yeremy Pino fluffing the best of the lot, hitting the bar with the goal begging after he was played in by Adam Wharton.

City had offered little before Haaland met Matheus Nunes' inviting cross with an unstoppable header in the 41st minute for his 16th league goal of the season.

Foden then put City in control with 20 minutes left before Haaland converted a late penalty to keep City second on 34 points from 16 games, two behind Arsenal. Palace are fifth with 26 points.
