Man City eyeing double Boca Juniors raid and other transfer rumours

Manchester City are reportedly set for a double raid of Boca Juniors this summer.

Pep Guardiola already dived into the Argentine market when he signed Julian Alvarez from River Plate on deadline day.

If rumours are to be believed, Exequiel Zeballos and Valentin Barco are the next two men to be making the switch from South America to North West England.

Aged 19 and 17 respectively, Bola VIP reports that the two teenagers have caught the eye of City's scouting department.

Zeballos has made 17 appearances in all competitions for Boca Juniors this season scoring the one goal and grabbing an assist as a winger.

Albeit younger, Barco has made three first team appearances for the Buenos Aires club in the left back position.

City are expected to find it difficult to sign the teenagers due to how highly they are thought of at Boca.

Elsewhere, Record are reporting that City are still some distance away from agreeing a new contract for star player Bernardo Silva.

It is believed that Guardiola is keen to strike a deal with Silva but they are currently not close to the contract being signed.

Silva still has three years remaining on his existing deal so it is unlikely that the Citizens will rush into negotiations.

The Portuguese midfielder has asked to leave City twice in the past to summer windows but is believed to now be settled in Manchester.
