Man City could give Oscar Bobb his next opportunity vs RB Leipzig

The Etihad Campus has become the new hub of future talent in recent years and Oscar Bobb looks poised to be the next off the production line.

We've seen a recurring theme in the play style of talent produced under the Guardiola regime, and Bobb is no exception. Cut from the same cloth as the likes of City great David Silva as well as Bernardo Silva and most identifiably Phil Foden, the 20-year-old has the all tools to emulate his City predecessors.

Born in Oslo, he signed from Norwegian side Valerenga at the age of 16 and wasted no time establishing himself within the academy. The left-footer operates as an attacking midfielder, often off the right flank but is more than capable in the no.10 role. His decision-making is typical of an excelling young player, knowing when to make the right decision to shoot, pass or dribble past his man.

His 22 goal involvements in 25 Premier League 2 games last season prove the rising star is ready to outgrow youth football and has taken the first steps already this season.
